HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
We had a really fun Halloween! We started the day off with taking Sam to preschool for a Halloween party where he had tons of fun! Then we walked to Tucker's school for their Halloween parade. All the kids wear their costumes and walk around the school. Addy got to be in the parade because Tucker dressed up as a cow and held a sign that said "Eat more chicken" an then he held Addy in her chicken costume. Everybody loved it!
After that we found out Aunt Sarah (KJ's sister) had her little baby girl! I wish I had a picture but she is in Germany. We are so excited for Sarah and Mike and can't wait to meet her!!
Then we went to a pot luck dinner which was really fun and then it was time for Trick - or -Treating! Both the kids had so much fun!! We didn't go too far because we had to go visit Uncle Tuck...
At the hospital! While we were at the pot luck Tucker was at the park playing football. Well he caught the football, tripped and tried to catch himself and broke both bones right above his wrist on his right arm! OUCH!! So right now he has a giant cast clear up to his shoulder! Oh, and it was the winning touch down he caught! So for the next 10 weeks Tucker will be doing nothing! So that was our exciting Halloween, we hope you all had a great Halloween!

Today is our ward Trunk - or - Treat so we had to get our pumpkins ready. It's been too hot to carve them any earlier. So I was very excited to carve pumpkins this year with Sam and Addy. If you know me, you know I LOVE pumpkins! But I am finding out my son does not! I don't know what I will do if Addy doesn't like them! I am also now convinced Sam is truly a mini version of his Aunt Jessie except he is a boy. We made Sam put his arm inside the pumpkin and assured him he would love pulling out the guts of the pumpkin like any other boy, OH NO! Sam reached into the pumpkin and almost threw up everywhere! Just like someone else I know :)
So here is Addy's turn and I think next year I will have a pumpkin carving buddy!
Here we are at the Trunk - or - Treat! Sam and Addy had so much fun! Sam got to play lots of fun games and get his face painted and then got to go collect candy! Addy discovered candy tonight. I let her have a sucker to play with and she got the wrapper off. So my dad tried to take it from her so he could take her chicken costume off so she wouldn't ruin it. Oh no there is no taking candy from this chicken! She threw a fit and yells "No, no!"

Sam had his first field trip on Wednesday! He woke up super early worried he was going to be late! We went to the Superstition Springs Dairy Farm. It was tons of fun! Sam was so good and loved it! We started out on a hay ride and got to see 2,500 cows. It stunk! We learned lots of cool stuff about dairy farms on the hay ride and then we went to the petting zoo! The kids got to pet and feed the goats and sheep and horse. Then they got to hold a chicken and pet a rabbit that just sits on this little table and lets you do whatever you want to it. Sam said the rabbits favorite thing to do was play hide and seek with his long ears. Then we went into a barn where they told us even more fun facts about the farm. Dairy farms are pretty amazing! Then we got to go for our milk and ice cream samples. YUMMY! They have about 14 different flavors of milk you can try. Anywhere from grape, orange, raspberry, blueberry, pistachio and more! Then we had a pic nic and played in the hay! What a fun day on the farm!
